BATAC Power Converter
BATAC® inverters convert DC power into AC power, enabling the operation of AC fans and blowers when only a DC power source is available. Designed for demanding aerospace, defense, and industrial environments, BATAC units help address application-specific concerns such as EMI and reliability while supporting the performance of traditional Rotron air-moving products. Built to withstand extreme environmental conditions including shock, vibration, altitude, humidity, salt spray, and sand and dust exposure, BATAC inverters are available in custom configurations to meet specific system requirements, including multiple speeds and multi-fan operation.
DELTAC Power Converter
DELTAC® converters are electronic frequency changers that convert one AC frequency to another, allowing Rotron fans and blowers to operate at their intended speed regardless of the available power source. Commonly used to convert 60 Hz power to 400 Hz for high-speed fan applications, DELTAC units provide precise frequency control to achieve desired performance characteristics and can support multiple fan loads. Engineered for harsh aerospace, defense, and industrial environments, DELTAC converters are available in a variety of custom configurations, including multi-speed and multi-fan designs, to meet specific application requirements.
Low-Speed Warning Devices
The Low Speed Warning Device (LSWD) is designed to provide early detection of fan performance degradation before a motor failure occurs. Used in conjunction with Rotron's Fan Performance Sensor (FPS), the LSWD monitors fan speed and activates a warning device, backup fan, LED, or audible alarm when RPM falls below a preset threshold. Suitable for aerospace, defense, ground vehicle, and shipboard applications, the LSWD is engineered for operation in harsh environments and can be customized to meet specific system requirements. By providing advance warning of reduced fan performance, the LSWD helps improve system reliability and supports proactive maintenance strategies.
